Description:
The Supportive Home Care Program provides funding for services that enable financially and medically eligible people to remain in their homes. These services include interior home maintenance such as light housekeeping, laundry and shopping, and exterior home maintenance such as lawn mowing and snow shoveling. The program does not provide personal care.
Iowa County Department of Social Services offers grants to fund the following services: Home Maintenance Services, Homemaker Assistance, In Home Assistance
You are eligible for supportive care if:
1. Your income and liquid assets are below the level set by current block-grant criteria

2. Your physician states that you cannot perform cretain housekeeping and home-
maintenance tasks.
3. Iowa County Resident
The goal of the program is to enable you to living safely and comfortably in your own home.
