Description:
Niles Hiltunen Benefit Fund was started in 2009 after Niles Hiltonen passed away a severe allergic reaction to a new medication, he was autistic and had a seizure disorder. Nile's mother, Grace Michaud started a benefit fund after his death and has received additional funds to keep the Niles Hiltonen Fund going.
THe Niles Hiltunen Benefit Fund is a non profit. The fund gives "random acts of kindness" to give a hug or carry a little bit of bruden for someone who is still struggling. The fund is to help families in northeast Wisconsin and UP Michigan living or carrying for someone with disabilities or a serious illness.
Their "random acts of kindness" is to help fill the gaps where insurances and other programs or services are lacking. Money given out by the fund is usually small donations of $200-$250. It can be used for the individual with the disability or illness or for respite for the caregiver. Contact Grace Michaud at 715-696-6644 to refer individuals/families if you think they'd benefit from a kind gesture.
