Description:

The American Organ Transplant Association (AOTA) is a private, non-profit group that has been helping patients with free or reduced airfare and bus tickets to and from their transplant center, many times hundreds of miles away. AOTA also provides transplant patients and their loved ones with resources regarding transplantation. The association also assist poeple with setting up trust funds and fundraising. All requests for travel must come from the transplant coordinator or social worker on behalf of solid organ transplant patients. One companion voucher is provided when medically necessary, or if the patient is a minor. Travel is for the contiguous United States.
