Description:
The Wausau Blind Outreach Center is one of eleven outreach centers that the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod has developed in the United States. This ministry provides an opportunity for blind and visually-impaired people to experience fellowship and social activities, to network with others and learn of available resources, and to share in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, growing in faith. While the center is open to those of all faith backgrounds, the gatherings are approached from a Christian perspective.
Blind Outreach meets every other month in the Parlors, providing programs and fellowship for all who attend. There is also a monthly newsletter.
WAYFINDING TIP: The Parlors are located through Door #1 of the Courtyard Entrance behind the building at ground level. An alternate entrance for this space is Door #16 on 5th Avenue.
