Free legal advice and representation may be able to be given with certain civil legal problems to individuals or groups with low income. We do not charge for our services. We do reserve the right to ask clients to pay certain costs (for records, copies, etc.,) but this is only rarely requested.
Eligibility: 125% of federal poverty level.
Legal Action provides free legal advice and representation to low-income clients. We also try to provide referrals to volunteer lawyers in some cases. Our top priorities are housing, public benefit, consumer and family law cases. The Madison office also has our Migrant Project, which represents migrant farm workers throughout the state.

Consumer Law and Foreclosures: Tuesdays 9, 1st 5 callers after 9am
Migrant Project: Monday-Friday, 9-5
