A confidential telephone program offering information and referral to local resources, supportive listening, and emergency services. This is the contact point for access to numerous Wood County agencies and programs. Crisis Intervention is the most effective route to mobilize immediate face to face assistance for mental health, alcohol, and other drug abuse, and developmental disabilities. This phone line will help people in crisis situations anytime day or night and is a suicide intervention hotline.
Crisis services offered include:
- Crisis Intervention Hotline
- Mobile Crisis
- Urgent Care appointments at the Outpatient Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids
- Short term residential crisis stabilization.
Major source of funding is governmental and individuals are not charges for crisis services, but attempts may be made to bill insurance if available.
