The ADRC oversees the Senior Dining (Home Delivered and Congregate Meals) for Buffalo County.
Home delivered meals are available for homebound persons or persons unable to prepare a nutritious meal. Short-term home delivered meals are also available for persons having an illness or who are temporarily unable to get out of their homes.
Congregate well balanced and nutritious meals are provided to senior citizens age 60+ Meals served are low in calories, sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fat. Also, diabetic desserts are available. Donations are accepted towards the cost of the meals and food stamps can be used for donations. Home delivery is available to those unable to leave their homes. Call for location, days and times.
