Description:
Wausau Community Theatre’s Sensory Program for the Performing Arts (SPPA) was established in 2008 to provide a more enjoyable theater experience to people with visual or hearing impairments through on-stage tours and live performance audio description. With the assistance of our program partner, CenterStage Band and Show Choir, SPPA is offered at many local arts performances.
The Sensory Program is available for the Friday performance of all Wausau Community Theatre productions presented at the Grand Theater.

*Provides visually impaired patrons with descriptive audio equipment, a pre-show tour of the stage and Braille programs. During performances, a trained volunteer will narrate the visual highlights.
