The Housing Authority provides decent, safe and sanitary housing for low-to-moderate income (LMI) elderly and persons with disabilities
Qualifications & Eligibility
Must be at least 62 years of age or handicapped/disabled.
An application will need to be completed and certified eligible by the Executive Director. If eligible your name will be put on the waiting list with the date in which we received your completed application.
Building Information
-All buildings are on ground level - no stairs
-Stove, refrigerator, carpet & drapes are furnished
-Reasonably priced coin-operated laundry facility on site
-Inside mail delivery (except Stoney Hill Court in Wonewoc)
Utilities
The utilities that are included are:
-Heat
-Hot water
-Sewer
-Garbage pick-up
Tenants are responsible for are:
-electric
-television hook-up
-telephone
Please note: We do have a utility allowance that is subtracted from the monthly rent.
Rent & Security Deposit
30% of your adjusted gross income. This means your total gross income minus medical expenses that you pay out of pocket. HUD Subsidized Apartments.
Security Deposit: Equal amount to their Total Tenant Payment (30% of your adjusted gross income)
Pet Policy
One pet per apartment is allowed.
If you choose to have a pet an addition $200 pet deposit is required.
