Description:
The Crisis Resource Center is a place that individuals who may be experiencing a psychiatric crisis can voluntarily access crisis intervention services.
The CRC offers:
- A safe, recovery-oriented environment
- Professional short-term intervention
- Peer support
- Links to ongoing support, services and community resources
- Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- They also have an AA class residential facility for the program.
Admission Criteria:
- Individuals must be 18 years of age or older
- Individuals must be experiencing psychiatric symptoms
- Voluntary admission
- Not a danger to themselves or others
- Medically stable

CFI opened a third Crisis Resource Center in March 2021, providing an additional 10 beds to serve those in psychiatric crisis as the need for 24/7 stabilization services continues to grow in the community, is open. CRC-West is at 69th Street and Silver Spring Avenue in Milwaukee.
