Description:

Programs for Change are behavioral health treatment programs addressing addiction issues for individuals and families. Each program offers a safe place to explore difficult issues.

Before attending a chemical addiction treatment program, participants must complete an intake assessment session with a Program for Change counselor. Determining an individual's needs is a complex process. Information from a variety of sources is gathered and reviewed by a counselor. The information can include input from family members and friends, medical providers, or possibly employers, counselors or others. Times for assessments are arranged on individual basis.

Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend the lecture. Times offered - Monday, Wednesday, Fridays or Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday evenings from 6-8:30 p.m. or Monday, Wednesday Friday days from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Groups are designed to strengthen the individual's sober support network. In addition to this program, participants are encouraged to attend community support groups. Times offered - Monday evenings from 6-8 p.m. for women; Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. for men; Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. for men; a day group is also available from noon - 2 p.m. for both women & men.
