Description:

The UMOS Latina Resource Center provides comprehensive, culturally and linguistically supportive services and advocacy to adults, youth and children.

Services
- The Child Development Division is the second largest division within UMOS. The division consists of Migrant Head Start and Migrant Child Care. The major focus of these programs is "school readiness," to prepare children to succeed in the public-school system, and to succeed in later life.
- The Workforce Development Division is the largest division within UMOS. Workforce Development programs are performance-based contracts that require careful planning, innovation, and constant monitoring from senior level corporate and program manager staff.
- UMOS' Social Services Division complements other UMOS divisions and programs to help improve the quality of life for the individuals and families in the communities where we live and work. The Social Services division is comprised of nine program components: UMOS Latina Resource Center's domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking supportive services, Farm Labor Housing, HIV Testing, Prevention and Counseling, the Wisconsin Hispanic/Latino Tobacco Prevention Network, Home Energy Assistance, Community Learning Center and the UMOS Food Pantry.
